Hello list members:
You may or may not know that the Alliance for Braille Literacy will hold its
3rd Annual Conference in St. Louis, MO from October 16-18, 2015. You can find
full details at our website: http://www.all4braille.com and a registration
form as well. On the form, you can indicate if you will attend in person or
via the internet.
I want to encourage everybody who is interested to attend this 3-day
conference in person. But, if you cannot the internet is certainly an option.
We did not really plan things this way, but as it turns out, Friday evening,
October 16, is when the conference begins and is also Dr. Abraham Nemeth's
birthday. We will hold a celebratory dinner, share some personal
rememberances, and a very special treat is in store for attendees from Dr.
Nemeth himself as well. The banquet will be held at Favazzas restaurant, one
of the finer Italian establishments in St. Louis, located in the Italian
district known locally as The Hill.
The agenda is nearing completion and will be distributed on this list when a
little bit further along. If you have any specific topics you would like to
see included in this conference, it is not to late to let us know what they
might be. What would make this conference most relevant to you?
Again, I encourage you to register for the conference rigtht away. October is
not that far away.
All the best,
Chris
