Subject: Re: [ATI] Text Messaging VIA Email Have there been any changes to these texting by email addresses since this was last posted a few years ago? I’ve kept it in my saved emails folder, and it’s been quite useful over the years, so I was wondering if there are changes or updates. This is the season for lots of good cheer, so happy Christmas to all, and a merry new year! From: Denny Huff Sent: Saturday, March 03, 2012 1:39 PM To: Adaptive technology information and support. Subject: [ATI] Text Messaging VIA Email You can send a text message via email to a cell phone by doing the following. Create a new email message and depending on the service that the person you are wanting to text message has, use one of the addresses below. Replacing the words, CellNumber with the actual cell phone number of the recipient. AT&T [email protected] Sprint [email protected] Verizon [email protected] T-Mobile [email protected] Virgin Mobile [email protected] Nextel [email protected] Alltel [email protected] Just leave the subject blank and limit the number of words you put in the body of the email. If you have a signature that goes with your new messages you will want to delete that text before sending. Now just send the message as you normally would. When replying to a text message you receive back, be sure and delete all of the original text in the message you are replying to. _____________________________________________________________________________ Denny Huff- President Missouri Council of the Blind P: (636) 262-1383 TF: (888) 362-1383 F: (314) 558-0298 Phone Cast: (816) 298-8969 [email protected] www.moblind.org The purpose of Missouri Council of the Blind shall be to promote the general well-being of our members and legally blind people in Missouri, and to support or participate in other programs promoting the best interests of legally blind people everywhere.
