Linda, I have an Edge but have not encountered that particular problem.
There is an email list for users of HIMS products but it is high traffic and
most of it dealt with the Braille Sense and with issues that didn't interest
me so I got off it. But you might want to try it out. I like the Braille
Edge and use it a lot because I just wanted a basic notetaker. I like it but
it took some getting used to because of differences between it and the
Braille Lite that I used for so many years. But it fits my needs. John

Subject: [ATI] Braille Edge Problem Solved

So, I changed the folder name to a much shorter one, and it now shows the
braille volumes. Strange that I couldn't find anything about this problem in
my searches, anywhere! I know I can't be the only user with this problem. If
anyone knows of a low-traffic email list that I can follow and post the
occasional question, please share. I've had note takers before, and I've had
braille displays, but I am trying to get used to what the combo braille
display/bare bones note taker can do.
