Having 'options', more than one way to do things, seems nice at the
beginning but I think they just burden the implementations for no
real benefit. I'll point to all the 'options' in Digest Authentication
and the interop problems they have engendered.

This is clearly legal according to RFC4287 and I think it should be
legal in APP.  There is currently nothing in APP draft -08 or
PaceMediaEntries4 that would forbid this behavior.

My preference would be to plug that 'hole' in the spec.
