In the long run, yes, as features get added in standards or in
implementations, it really matters.

Yes (the "media resource" is the atom:content of the "media link
entry", not an enclosure: the atom:author, atom:contributor and
atom:category that you set on the "media link entry" apply to the
"media resource" not only the entry; the "media link entry" has been
set up to allow modifying the "metadata of the media resource")
