Docker 1.11 has not been tested extensively with OpenShift or Kubernetes, but there are a number of known issues that make Docker 1.11 unsuitable for use with OpenShift 1.2.0 Most of those are production level issues - hangs, crashes, panics - that do not exist on earlier versions.
The issue on 1.9 will get fixed as soon as someone can help us recreate it (it's likely a corruption of JSON data either on disk or in memory, but we need to know what corruption is occurring).
