I have just committed some further improvements to the STM8 port. It now supports writing debug messages to the UART. The UART is utilised by all of the automated tests to print out both test pass/fail status, and an indication of the stack usage of each test thread. I have also rearranged the memory layout to make better use of the available SRAM, and made further improvements to the port's documentation.
