I just installed CentOS 4 on a laptop, which upgraded the kernel to 2.6.9-22.0.2. I want to install madwifi, but ATrpms only has a kernel module for 2.6.9-22.0.1.
I installed atrpms.rpm, the madwifi source and spec file, and tried running various incantations of rpmbuild, all of which fail with: error: line 1: Unknown tag: %kmdl madwifi All the references I can find assume that you are creating your own spec file, so I am not making much headway. Could someone take pity on a poor noob, and provide instructions on how to build this package from source? Also, when are the binary rpms expected to be available for this kernel thanks in advance markus __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
