Yesterday I reported a problem, and later reported that I thought it had
been a false alarm.

I think now that the problem is real; it seems that the version that was
active when things were working again was 20060410, although smart had
just re-installed 20060525. After a reboot the new version took over
and failed as before. I put this onto the v4l list and told Axel but
didn't post to atrpms-users - I can't post simultaneously to both lists.

Sorry about all the confusion, and grateful thanks to Axel and Hermann
for their interest and help.

John
