Well, my problems must be not firmware related than.
It beats the hell out of me, but I'm near to giving up and buy me a hardware
solution or try moving back to old kernel and the IVTV-0.3 driver (was rock
solid for me).

I agree, this may be better to post at the ivtv list.
As mentioned before, this box worked stable with FC4 and IVTV drivers 0.3
series. Ever since I moved to FC5 the trouble started.
What I also see is that sometimes udev won't start, but I don't know if that's
related as even if udev starts successful, ivtv won't work properly.
I have no other problems than the above on this box.

To describe this issue :

Loading the ivtv driver is not stable. Sometimes it loads the driver at boot,
mostly it fails.
When it loads and I start mythTV's live TV, I mostly get a black image only.
When I use ivtv-tune -f and set a frequency it shows that it detects no
signal .
Only sometimes when I reboot and the ivtv driver loads successfully I get real
live TV. It'll take somewhere between 15-20 reboots to get one successful
load (but today actually none so far). Once it is working, it will work rock
solid until the next reboot, making me believe that these are only
initialisation issues of the pvr-350 and there's nothing else wrong with my
hardware.
Switching off the PC completely between reboots doesn't seem to make any
difference either.

Some data attached below (state = not working, black image in mythTV)
If anything else is needed, please let me know.

Regards,
Marcel
