Not sure if this is a bug, or if I'm doing something wrong. I'm running FC6
with several packages from the ATrpms repo, including the Nvidia stuff.
Just a bit ago I ran Smart and saw that there was a new kernel (
kernel-2.6.18-1.2868.fc6) available. Smart did not pick up that this kernel
update would also require an update to the Nvidia KMDL package, and I'm not
sure if it should have or not. I then decided to tried yum, because I
thought the yum-plugin-kmdl package was supposed to handle situations like
this. However, when I ran 'yum check-update' it did not show that the new
'kmdl' package would be installed/updated. Using yum, I updated the kernel
anyway. I then manually downloaded the 'kmdl' package for this new kernel,
and tried to install it. But when I run rpm to do the install I get the
following error:

error: unpacking of archive failed on file /lib/modules/2.6.18-1.2868.fc6
/updates/drivers/video/nvidia/nvidia-1_0-9631.ko;45882886: cpio: read

I've tried it a few times, with the same results, except for the number
after the '.ko;' seems to change. I also tried using yum to get the package
and got a similar error message.
