Axel,

I've noticed some performance issues with these new "bleeding" repo Myth SVN
packages. (I know, I know beta code, blowing up systems, and all that.) On
my primary Myth front-end system I was using 'libmpeg2' as the MPEG2
decoder, and getting smooth HD playback, with around 35-45% CPU usage.
After upgrading to the "bleeding" packages, with the same settings on this
front-end I'm seeing 90+% CPU usage, with choppy audio and video on HD
playback. I changed the MPEG2 decoder to 'Standard', and this got me down
to 65-70% CPU usage with OK HD playback. Clearly something has changed
here. Before I do more troubleshooting and/or post to the Myth lists I
wanted to ask if these "bleeding" Myth packages were compiled with the same
options as the "stable" packages. I know there was an issue a while back
where the packages were compiled without MMX, and I did know if something
similar may have happened here.

Thanks,
John
