Harry these are your problems.
You are using an driver called "nvidia-1.0-9755" which
doesn't exist.
Normally you would call for "nv" or "nvidia", but I
have never seen the driver's version inside the
driver's name at the xorg.conf level.
I suggest that you change first the driver name to
"nv" in order to use the open source driver. Make sure
that X starts with it. After it works, then change to
"nvidia" in order to use the proprietary driver that
has some more functionality included.
