I should probably make the kmdl build the default
(e.g. kmdl_userland=0) instead of the userland build. The typical
end-user usage is to build kmdl for other kernels and use the userland
bits that everyone else uses, too.

It's just a simple typo. Make kmld -> kmdl and that's all :)

I think you're doing quite well, you were just stopped by a typo. If
