Due to teh buggy installonly feature in yum that wants to remove this old kernel and OTOH yum find out that it forgot to remove the packages depending on this package. Please report to bugzilla.redhat.com. > installonlypkgs="kernel,ivtv-kmdl,lirc-kmdl,video4linux-kmdl,kmod-nvidia" > > Why are they trying to be upgraded? There is no need and in fact you are breaking them. kmdls are just normal packages like every other package but the kernel. Install yum-plugin-kmdl, turn off installonly-bug and then you'll be able tp upgrade from FC1 to F8 (from ATrpms POV ;). -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net
