Hello Axel and Guys,

I have posted the question to the V4L guys and have received their reply
. They have published a patch for this problem on 12/01/2009 . The patch
is located here :

http://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/1821/

Could we please incorporate this patch and release another v4l module .
On another front I have just upgraded to FC 10 and also new myth ver 200
. Does any one have a V4L module from 20081218 for kernel
2.6.27.9-159.fc10.i686 ? If so please forward it as I am desperate to
get the system going again . That is until we can incorporate the above
patch into the new source .

Hi,

the video4linux package from December has been updated only because it did not compile for
kernel  2.6.27.9-159.fc10 anymore. If you need it, you need to use the previous kernel,
134.

Anyway, an updated package is available here:

http://people.atrpms.net/~pcavalcanti/srpms/video4linux-20090106-88.0.2.fc8.src.rpm

It is patched, and compiled fine for F10, but I do not have the hardware to test.

Can you try it and post the results?

Thanks.

Hello Paulo,

Much appreciate your help . I have built and installed this new module . It compiled without problems on my fc10 installation . I have installed it and both of my tuner cards seem to be working well . I have observed no errors so far . Again thanks for your help , my system is back working again .

Best Regards
Milorad
