Installing that package should pull in the others needed to make a
working system - although JYA doesn't recommend the current spin. Most
of your recent posts have included a line similar to
'163 packages excluded due to repository priority protections'
and that looks like your real problem.

Perhaps the refresh-packagekit plugin has applied some kind of override?
Have you tried disabling that too?

yep disabled that too and still get same result... just one package
I just downloaded that RPM and queried it here is the --requires output

Does this mean that these a non-version specific requires? ie if I have MythTV installed I
assume it thinks I already have these installed?
