Hi, I'm not a fan of early packages in stable repos, but mythtv developers have been recommending 0.23-fixes over 0.22-fixes even though 0.23 is not officially released yet. The official release is going to tarball what's in 0.23-fixes anyway, and there is no blocker bug anymore on 0.23.
So 0.23 is hitting the stable repo. As with any mythtv release there will be some breakage in the beginning and fixes will soon catch up. If you are worried about early adoption either don't upgrade or keep a backup of your database. -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net
