Looks like it's system dependent, I didn't have to remove anything, I
just had to init 3/init 5 to get into the new driver (F12).

My recommendation: Try yum install nvidia-grpahics first (or just yum
update), go init 3 and use nvidia-graphics-switch to switch to the new
driver, then fire up X agan with init 5.

If that doesn't work, remove the old drivers and try the procedure
above again.
