        Let me try and be clearer about this.  This system appears from what
I can learn from yum to need libavcodec52 and libvpx.so.0 while the
latest ffmpeg needs libvpx.so.1.  Now the two appear to be uable to
co-exist.  I am hoping that rebuilds of mythtv will eventually be out
which support libvpx.so.1 in the mean time it apepars I cannot update
ffmpeg.

Have I missed something.  If so I'll gladly read any exact threads
that are pertinent.  But after hours of searching the gossamer-threads
I've not seen anything on this yet.
