With a tool like lljvm, it should be straightforward to realize your dream :)
I compiled ATS toolchain to Javascript and used node.js to do everything. It was a bit of fun. However, I just don't feel like using JS when I can use C :) I hope someone would be willing to step up and build the ATS tool chain in JVM. I will be happy to answer questions if needed.
