AUCTeX uses tool-bar-mode-on-hook but the I think the hook is called tool-bar-mode-hook in Emacs. I've got the source for AUCTeX now but the toolbar code is very complex, presumably because it has to work on XEmacs too. > Could it depend on the toolkit?
