Yes, reftex is maintained by us, so that's the best you can do if you
care about getting issues fixed. ;-)

It would be even better if you report reftex bugs and issues using `M-x
reftex-report-bug'.  Then it makes it into our bug database (instead of
just to a mailing list) so it won't be forgotten.

(For bugs in AUCTeX (not reftex) use `M-x TeX-submit-bug-report'
instead.)
