Hi, Recently the RefTeX ToC behaviour I was used to, has changed.Let me try to explain:
I have a multi-file latex document. I open the ToC with C-c,=, and I get the ToC table on the left side of the document. When I go to a section in the ToC, and hit space or tab, i normally get the file in the main frame. But if I go to another section in the ToC, that corresponds to another file, it will open it *under* the previous file. Here is a very crude representation: |—————|———————————| | | | | Toc | File 1 | | |___________________ | | | File 2 | |_ _______ |___________________| Now, what I want is that when I have file 1 open, and go to a section in the ToC that is in another file, file 2, that file 2 should be in the place of File1, and the file 1should not have its own frame anymore. This happens with Emacs 24.5 and auctex 11.88.6 in OS X and Emacs 24.4.1 and auctex 11.88.6 in Debian Jessie Until recently, I was getting the behaviour I want now. However this changed in the past 2 months. I do not know if it is because of a change in auctex. Just for completeness, I must mention that I also have switched to a monitor with higher vertical resolution, if it has anything to do with it. Any suggestions on how I could go back to the behaviour I had before, would be greatly appreciated.
