More importantly, the link in the PDF is broken (point to wrong location).
So really the issue should be reported to user, ideally.
Hence this feature request.
Dear Ikumi,
If I understand your request correctly,
Thanks, but
it appears that you have not. I already mentioned that
the issue is not reported with (TeX-toggle-debug-warnings).
This is not formatted in log as a LaTeX warning.
It is not a LaTeX warning or error but a warning originating
in pdftex itself.
Please refer to my provided MWE.
hmm wait I probably read your prescription too hastily
maybe my turn to try out your mwe...
No I was right.
Your prescription below does not work.
On first compilation I see :
zut10.tex 5 Warning LaTeX Warning: Reference `eq:b' on
page 1 undefined on input line 5.
zut10.tex Warning LaTeX Warning: There were undefined
references.
zut10.tex Warning LaTeX Warning: Label(s) may have
changed. Rerun to get cross-references right.
zut10.tex Warning Package rerunfilecheck Warning: File
`zut10.out' has changed.
which does not contain items for the problem I am referring to
On second compilation there are no Warning no Error reported.
LaTeX: successfully formatted {2} pages

the following prescription will
serve you:
1. Enable `TeX-error-overview-open-after-TeX-run' option.
2. Type C-c C-t C-w (TeX-toggle-debug-warnings) before C-c C-c.
I haven't found out why we can't do without
`TeX-error-overview-open-after-TeX-run', but I expect the above
prescription is effective as a work around anyway.
