Regarding translating proper names like "Audacity" , "Windows" or "Linux",
I tried to keep the proper names same as in English where these are used as
a brand logo or registered trade mark with "R" suffix. However, in
documentation or in message I have only phonetically translated in Hindi
(not the word meaning). In Languages like Italian, French etc. script is
same(i.e. roman) as English, hence there is no difference for these
languages in writing for proper names.
However to go with the general policy, I can do the changes as suggested by
you, as soon as practically possible for me.
