Hi Cleber, The text (which is probably not exactly the same as it was in the .po file) is in the Manual: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Quick_Help . So the translated text would be added there using Wiki markup: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Help:Translating . I suspect the Quick Help in the Manual is a little out-of-date, but not seriously so. I was aiming to go over it before 2.0. > and work with different links (like linking to a quick_help_pt_br.html) > on the PO file? Only an English Manual will be distributed with Audacity (in the installers for Windows and Mac). If the user sets the Interface Preferences to "Internet" then clicking the "Quick Help" link in the Welcome Screen or the Help menu will still go to the English online version of the Manual, unless the corresponding string in the code is made translatable. See: http://audacity.238276.n2.nabble.com/links-to-manual-in-Audacity-programme-Help-menu-td7107783.html#a7114496 . In your case, it may be easier just to put a Brazilian Flag on: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Quick_Help then users can click through to your translated page. > And when is the deadline for this translations at last? That is for the release manager for 2.0 to decide, but for now you can assume a little before mid-February (when we expect the code freeze to be).
