Does this give translators enough time, Vaughan? As you know I find the concept of GUI/String freeze, then Code freeze after that much clearer for everyone.This is what we had for 2.0.6 release.
Shouldn't a new audacity.pot be posted? Many of the translators can't even start before that is done. http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Release_Process#Process says: "After string freeze, the audacity.pot file needs to be updated with the frozen strings". If string freeze is the same time as code freeze then by definition that makes it impossible for most translators to submit a new translation for the release.
