There were a couple of additional requirements and steps that needed to
be... well, "stepped" :)
* Added the necessary language-pack-$LANG-base packages to the Linux server.
* Configured the audacity source, and got the audacity.pot file, which was
needed for the website.
* Made a small change to include/lang.inc.php to append ".utf8" to locale
names when calling setlocale. If (!setlocale()) I try setlocale without
.utf8 appended. Someone with commit access, please contact me off-list.
With this, translations are running. There are many strings that do not
appear translated, but any language version you open, does have translated
elements. Someone more in-the-loop regarding translations might be able to
pinpoint the full problem.
