Hi,

It depends on your favorite translation tool.

So you can

1. Use
   msgmerge -U your.po audacity.pot
   from command line
2. Use Lokalize synchronization capabilities (Settings -> Tools) to update  
new po with existing translations.
3. Use poEdit "Update from POT file":

4. Wait until Tx updates its catalog and just upload your  
old-catalog-based translation there.

It's just a "2.0.6" in configure.ac. So developers can easily fix this.
