I've read the manual but I'm still confusing.

In following strings:
"Steps per block are too few for the window types."
"Steps per block cannot exceed the window size."
"Median method is not implemented for more than four steps per window."
"You must specify the same window size for steps 1 and 2."
Is the step meaning in an action in a series in order to deal with a
particular thing, or some musical term?
