This is NOT the string freeze for version 2.2.2. But enough string changes
have accumulated that I want translators to have the opportunity to do
advance work.
In particular I have identified many places where there was English grammar
bias in the programming, and corrected that, but that means that many
slightly changed msgids in the .pot are only fuzzy matches for your .po
files now.
The best translations were 100% complete for 2.2.1, but that has decayed to
95%.
I hope that fixing this will likewise invole numerous but mostly slight
changes that are easy. Though there are also some completely new messages.

P. S. I have also made the changes so that the menu of languages in
Interface preferences shows the self-names of all languages. You need do
nothing there, unless to correct the strings, which I shared in an earlier
email. I mention it again, because if you know how to build Audacity from
source, you might enjoy looking at it.
