I've downloaded the sv.po file for translating into swedish. But I can't
open the file in PoEdit 1.3, 1.58 and 2.3 (free version).
Since it was six years ago that I did the translating of Audacity I'm
not sure if I've done something wrong. Or should I use another program
instead of PoEdit?

You can attach the file you use in the next email and i can have a look
at it.
Someone else have been working on the translation in 2018 so check the
file at https://github.com/audacity/audacity/tree/master/locale and
maybe contact the last translator.
