Well, you have to switch your system locale to play, that's just the hard truth of it. Either that or learn japanese. To play these text games you have to translate some things that don't show up properly unless your locale is set to japanese. Then you use NVDA plus 5 three times to copy any text it's on to the clipboard. This is mainly for menues, but since menues aren't copied to the clipboard, that's your only option.
