I still wonder how a discussion about a banner leads to the downfall of an entire website.
the one thing i do agree with is that the banner isn't really a mud related theme. Although it could be if there are any christianity based muds, which I'm assuming there are.
As I can tell from this thread as soon as someone made a post stating another member's opinion as intollerent (which I personally disagree with) it kind of went downhill from there. This opinion wasn't really intollerent in my opinion, and I kind of agree with the fact that it might be an irritant to other users. After all where are the Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Wicca banners? (Hopefully those spellings are correct)
The host seems to have no other reason to add the banner apart from his beliefs in Christianity which isn't really a problem. I wonder though why not just us e a link to the banner in the post's signature.
