Re: Death Match

If this is modeled after Dead Space, no, things do not die when you blow off their heads. Necromorphs are created by a virus that animates dead flesh, so even if you cut an enemy completely to pieces, it can still move. The only way things die in Dead Space is if the virus decides that the body is useless to it and can't mutate it further, so it leaves to find another host. These are not zombies, humans or anything close. They're created by an alien virus that makes creatures a hundred times more deadly by mutating their corpses and often times, combining them together. So don't assume that just because you removed it's head and legs that it's dead. It will play dead and somehow sense when you're nearby, and try to grab you as you move past. Dead space is one of the craziest horror games I've ever heard of, and necromorphs make zombies look absolutely pathetic by comparison, since zombies have a major weakness.
