Aaron77, the command to switch keyboards is actually Alt Shift. Control Shift switches between keyboard types, like japanese and microsoft IME, but that's just confusing things and doesn't make much difference. Alt Shift actually switches languages.
Grif, yeah, the arrows are the 4 compass directions. So you just keep going left. You'll know your at the forst by two things. As the translation says, there's a save point as a landmark that says Forest Team Save or something like that. The other way you'll know is that if you keep going straight left, the music eventually changes when you hit the forest.
