Goldwave isn't a multi-track based program. If you plan on mixing and rendering your music with your speech synthesizr speaking in accordance to the music, you would use two separate tracks, which I would suggest using Audacity. It's light, fast, quick, easy, andit's come a long way in accessibility.
Regarding getting your speech recorded, are you having issues with capturing it's speech?
