Re: Scrolling Battles Pro
If your purpose in this community is mainly helping developers by making sounds for them, then yes, it does matter.
I, and a few others, have only really worked on small, mostly doomed projects, but Kai, Damion, Locudus, Philip, Gortholon and others, however, have worked on bigger things for the most part, so to see one of those people, one who's work may be the most well known out of any of them making things worse with their comments, makes me feel as though I have an obligation to set things straight since I've done at least a bit of research on this type of thing.
Mason, if sounds didn't matter in audio games, then they wouldn't be audio games, they matter just as much as gameplay to the average consumer from what I've seen lately, just as graphics matter majorly in the mainstream.
And Speeder, that's kind of exactly my point..
.
People care so much now about things they barely understand when it comes to the legality of audio that it ends up fucking everything to hell and back, lol.
But I don't want to be the one that starts a flame war on this topic, so, I'm done, I promise, and post 115 was really all I wanted to say on the subject anyway...
