To be honest all this talk of connectors and lightning is a bit superfluous to me, sinse whatever the hardware is doing I just don't like Apple's software solutions to file handling for media, ie, the dreaded Itunes. If I do ever get a mac that might change, but that's no longer a priority at the moment.
Again, I'll ask the question, what good does all this computery wootery do me?
Quite often I find companies (and not just apple), try to baffle everyone with science, and say how the new oojar boojar 3000 gigger quad techno ossolating flangemagjigathing is soooo much better, without actually addressing what the hell the thing does. The only depressing part is so many people go along with this and just believe! something is better because they're told it is rather than trying to work out what practical good it does.
To me this all looks like Apple trying to grab more proprietory space and make sure your Iphone will only! run with apple ap proved apple things that make money for apple, which is another reason I reffuse to buy into any of Apple's media or audio anyway.
Oh, and the virus? it's called the I submit, and will be available in the next upgrade of Ios. Those who want an early copy can recieve one by going to the ap store and copy and pasting their soul into the appropriate box on the form, adding your name and address if you've prefer the actual physical demon to turn up with the complimentary pitch fork (this costs extra), otherwise it'll just get sucked into whatever Apple port you have open at the time.
Then Apple will own you!
