I just got into my password manager, and chose 1Password over KeePass because it supports Wi-Fi syncing. I didn't want a cloud-based sync solution. Yes it's proprietary, and yes it costs money, and yes it costs rather more money that I'd've preferred to pay, but it is an excellent product, for all that. I'm afraid I can't say what the PC version is like because I'm on Mac. I would have used KeePass except that the iOS apps are unofficial. On the other hand, they do support Dropbox, so they might be OK by you. 1Password also does Dropbox, of course, but if you can use KeePass on iOS, that would obviously be a better solution for you if you can make it work.
