Hmmm, I think I still have one stored away somewhere, gathering dust. It would be interesting if I could find it and see if it still worked. I haven't the slightest idea about what the internal components are like, but it was a reliable, if slow by today's standards, embosser. But it also wasn't exactly built for handling cranking out large tomes, either, so that's another point to consider.
