Re: BlazBlue" chrono phantasma extend menues?
Things do get a bit wacky at first. We have the first game, Calamity trigger. That game has less voicing and a lot more narrative text. The story itself is just plain strange and doesn't really make much sense in some places. Okay, a lot of places.
Then we have Continuum Shift, which takes place right after Calamity Trigger. This one has narrative text, but it also has a lot more voicing.
We then have Continuum Shift Extend, which contains not only the Continuum Shift story, but a reconstructed story for Calamity Trigger which seems to make a bit more sense. I think there's also a Continuum Shift 2 as well. They do this weird thing about releasing different versions of the same game.
Then finally we have Chrono Phantasma and Chrono Phantasma extend. Extend is basically Chrono Phantasma with extra stories and things.
This was all from memory, so feel free to look at the BlazBlue wiki page and check. I also don't have any of these games myself, I just listen to playthroughs. So while I know the story, I can't really help with actual gameplay.
There's also an arcade game in Japan right now that follows after Chrono Phantasma. I don't know if they're making that into a console game or what.
And for anyone who likes anime, there is actually a BlazBlue anime that's based around Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift. It's called BlazBlue Alter Memory.
