Hello mate,
One of the reasons I learnt that hello is proceeded by a comma is by hearing eloquence which changes the intonation when saying hello. In jaws, a comma in the end of the line is read, but NVDA does not sadly do this thing. I wanted to write the team about this small and perhaps not valuable suggestion, but I have also seen other people doing the same thing and that's why I wanted to do it. Some people write hello:
some others hello...
and other people hello.
Maybe this is not quite important, but I am keen on proper writing.
