Okay, I've checked out rise of chaos and it can be found here
The only slight confusion in terms of access is that none of the resources are named at the top of your empire, but I believe they go in the order of food, gold, logs and stone.
The game also has some progress features so you start off in the stone age and progress to different ages, getting more buildings and units and such along the way.
It look very accessible so people looking for a stratogy game should give it a go.
