Notebooks of Lazarus Long

Hey guys. So I was doing a little googling this morning, and I came across this interesting read. For new programmers, and indeed even veterans, this book will prove to be a fun read. For example, here's a few quotes from the excerpts.
"Most “scientists” are bottle washers and button sorters."
"A “pacifist male” is a contradiction in terms. Most self-described “pacifists” are not pacific; they simply assume false colors. When the wind changes, they hoist the Jolly Roger."
This is by far my favorite

"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects!"
This is the quote that allowed me to stumble upon this collection. Anyhoo, I hope you guys will take the time to check it out, you can go to this website to read the notebook, but there's also the actual book as well which you should also take a gander at.
