@garrettturner, just north east of the hotel in hazel vale is a house, at the back is the door that leads first to a small area called bell tower front (though there is a manamon there to capture if your lucky), and then to the bell tower, remember how you heard the bell was stolen go up the tower and fight all the trainers, then you'll be able to get into the stadium, just be certain your ready, the leader battle in particular is a real toughy.
As to monster abilities, they're displayed in the information for each monster when you look at the overview.

Collecting all the manamon would be nice, but I hope I haven't completely scuppered that by missing the one creature in the woods thatt I mentioned, since it doesn't have any location info in the manapedia and it'd be a bit irritating if I had to replay the entire game just for forgetting use of a mananet.
I've now gone through the caves and the story
line is indeed kicking off, obviously the double dragon lee brothers didn't do a good enough job of defeating the shadow warriors back in the eighties, ---- though at least their leader left his machine gun behind .
I would like to get back to the trail though, so I wonder how the caves etc connect to the rest of the game, but I'm guessing I'll find out when I've explored the village.
The only slightly annoying part about the caves is that the ratsel slaughtered everything, but most of the other uniques I captured wet down pretty quickly, so without chance to change I now have one uba rat and everything else rather wussy .
A way of levelling idel monsters would be nice, or at least more multi monster battles so that it's not just wh
oever is n the vangard who gets the experience. I guess this is part of online play, though really I don't see how that works if you firstly need to be online at the same time as someone else and swap ip addresses, it'd be nice to just have a list of publically hosted servers, then again the single player game is certainly more than enough to keep me going.
My wife actually wants to try it out herself, though whether it'll be her thing I don't know, I just wish there were save files so we can save more than one game on the same machine.
Either way, love the game.
