Re: VGStorm Presents Manamon, a new fully featured RPG!
Okay, Matt, here comes the recommendations.
For everyone else, it's spoiler time.

If you're really dead set on doing this in one run, here's what I suggest, at a bare minimum:
An ice type with a strong ice move (Frenrir is good, Arctana is not bad)
At least 20 strong herbs
At least 15 revives (maybe more, and no, I'm not kidding...I wish I was).
A team in the low to mid 50s
Hopefully at least one or two mons who resist fire and/or ground
A fair diversity of strong attacking moves
At least a couple of those potions that bump your stats up two stages
The move Battlecry
If you have much much better mons or better luck than I did, you may be able to get away with less than this, but that's what I had, and I had to retry about twelve times before I won, and I won quite frankly due to a mon being frozen.
I wish I could tell you I was joking. I won by dum
b luck, even with all that. And my mons were actually closer to 60.
In any case, it's very doable, and I didn't exactly have a top-tier balanced team either. But then again, most people playing this game for the first time won't either.

Okay, so I've got a few questions:
Friggle is not learning any electric moves except Electric Shield, and she's still got, like, Tidal Wave for damage. Tell me this is going to get better? For a water-electric type, it's very underwhelming so far.
When does Jackanaipe evolve? He's so so frail right now, and his most reliable move is running peculiarly off his lowest stat (attack).
Is there actually a way to find Domestress in the game? And for the person who was asking, no, it's not armour or whatever. Domestress looks like a human female, sort of; the second gym leader has one, and her ability means that as soon as a mon enters the field, its attack
and special attack go down a level each, effectively meaning she and her foes take less damage. Another reason that fight is a lot harder than I expected.
And,
Another spoilerish thing, sorta kinda.
So I actually figured out something to do with the telephone, but it...didn't do anything useful. There's a person who gives you a number, and if you call it, you get some guy named Preston. Is there anything to this, or is it just a dead end/story thing?
