So, some smallish bad news, guys.
I had a good long think about it, and I came to a decision about the guide.
I'm gonna do it, but not right away. I'm gonna run through the game again, this time slower like I said, with the water starter. I want to give each starter a really fair chance, and try different mons on each playthrough, before I really dig into the meat of this thing.
The good news is that I will have even better info when the guide does happen.
The bad news is, I'm not writing it yet.
The other good news is that this time, I don't necessarily want to go crazy catching/owning everything. The mythicals aren't going anywhere, the post-game doesn't bring anything really new to the table. All I have to do is get through the main storyline and flesh out some mons I've never used before.
Some of the ones on my short list (outside the water starter, who I will give a good long look) are:
Recobrah
Gr
andland
Sacraloon
Erroir/Donnammer (not sure which yet)
Dorminoid
Terruffalo
Deciced
Merembear
Elvond/Duskond
Thornita
Trumer
Hydrake
Obviously my team can't have all those, but they each intrigue me, either because I found them difficult in a fight, or saw they had a good moveset, or foes use them regularly (Recobrah is a great example of this actually). So if any of you guys have any findings on any of these mons that should tell mme to try them, or to not even consider them, feel free to spoil me on that score. Haha.
