@Haramir: Did you ever try out the challenge combos for Birdie? I completed them by myself, by just listening to the demonstrations. To get a demonstration of the combos, all you need to do is, select the second item in the menu, while you are in trial mode for a character. The game will show you how the combo is done, and you can just take it from there.
You know if you are doing the combo correctly, when you hear a high pitch sound, after every hit.
If anyone needs a recording or demonstration on how to do it, I will gladly post up a quick recording of myself, doing some challenge combos for a character.
